Typography Experiment

Typography / Graphic Design

Objective

The primary aim of this project is to delve into diverse typographic techniques by leveraging a variety of materials and applying these techniques in the creation of visually captivating posters and a compelling movie trailer, tailored to suit a specific cinematic production.

Approach

In this exploration of typography, I incorporated unconventional materials such as broken eggshells, fragmented glass, and torn paper, alongside strategically manipulated shadows. A comprehensive documentation process involved capturing numerous photographs from various angles. The movie Split was chosen as the focal point, with the typographic exploration serving as the foundation for the design and development of both the film’s posters and its unique trailer.
